Conditions of Entry – Illustration Competition

Overview
- Open to students in Year 5 to 6
- Students are asked to submit an illustration for one of the selected stories from the 2025 Tell me a Story Writing Competition
- Selected stories for illustrating will be sent to schools after reviewing has concluded
- Selected artworks will be published in the Tell me a Story Anthology 2025
- To register for this competition please email info@tellmeastory.org.au
- Registration details must include school, year at school and student’s name
Conditions of entry
- Please ensure that a signed permission form has been completed before a student submits a story or registers for the illustration competition.
- Before illustrating, students should read the story they wish to illustrate, as the work must reflect a significant character or setting from the story.
- Illustrations must be on A3 sized paper, either landscape or portrait format. The artwork can be in any medium, in colour or black and white. Collage and three dimensional works are acceptable.
- Entries open from 3 September 2025
- Illustrations to be submitted NO LATER THAN 21 September 2025
- Multiple entries to be submitted in one envelope sealed envelope
- Please write your School’s name on the envelope
